Art Deco

After the client had finished their extensions and renovations to this Art Deco 1930's house, ingardens were brought in to design and construct gardens to compliment their house.

Taking into consideration the curves and dimensions of the existing building and the small size of the block, the garden was designed to maximise the areas for entertainment and enjoyment. The main features of the design were the art deco pillars, which create visual height around the entertaining areas.

  • Simple Camellia hedge with rustic brick path
  • Paved entrance in Art Deco style, with turfed lawn areas and sympathetic planting
  • Courtyard off the dining room with feature fence and Frank Lloyd Wright figurine.
