Mark Pedley founder and principal of Ingardens, started his training in horticulture as a young apprentice in 1984.

Upon completion of his apprenticeship, he took a voyage of discovery through Africa and Europe touring through many historic and botanical gardens. This increased his ability to understand relationships between plants and their environment, and their broader uses within the Landscape, from intimate courtyards through to large rural properties.

Whist in the U.K. he continued his passion within the industry by completing a garden design course at Capel Manor Horticultural College (London).  On returning to Australia in 1994 he started his own successful landscaping business, concurrently completing a Diploma of Applied Science ( Horticulture ) in 2002 (Burnley, University of Melbourne).

In the intervening years mark has undergone many additional professional development courses, and in 2009 passed his Builders license for structural landscaping. (DB-L 32876)
